Sørmo Architects is a small family owned company that focuses on creating minimalistic and timeless cabins and homes (occasionally furniture) that are inspired by wood, concrete, steel and other rough materials - like cork.
The visual identity is based upon the materials they are inspired by and a simple design that create something that are recognizable. The logo lifts up the "Ø" as something that represents them and ties a connection to they heritage - in Scandinavia. The "O" is lifted to create balance in the design.
Disclaimer: This is a fictional architect company that I have made up, to represent a vision a I had for a visual identity I wanted to make. The process has been similar to the other processes I use to help others with design.
